Biking - Not Just for Exercise!

Atlanta residents waste more than 160 million gallons of gas sitting in traffic each year!  When sunlight and heat react with gasoline fumes and exhaust, ground-level ozone pollution forms and Atlanta’s air quality suffers.

Viewer Tip: Save gas!  Many commuting trips are around five miles or less - a bikeable distance.  If you only have short distance to go, consider biking to work instead of driving to reduce your emissions.  Biking can save you about 400 gallons of gas in a year.
