Georgia Strawberries
Did you know that the crop yield and flavor of strawberries can vary from year-to-year based on Georgia’s weather? Lots of rainfall can dilute the flavor of the berries and increase crop losses due to fungus, but this year’s dry and mild conditions make it a good year for strawberries.
Viewer Tip: Depending on where you live, strawberry harvests are either taking place now, or are right around the corner. Strawberry picking offers a great chance to get outside, enjoy the weather, and support local farms.
