The Great Lakes Aquarium is a nonprofit organization located in Duluth, Minnesota.  The mission of Great Lakes Aquarium(GLA) is to “inspire stewardship, understanding and exploration of the Great Lakes and their interconnection with global ecosystems.”  GLA provides on-site and outreach educational programming to learners of all ages.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, based at the University of Texas at Austin, was founded in 1982 by Former First Lady, Lady Bird Johnson and actress Helen Hayes to protect and preserve North America’s native plants and natural landscapes. Today, the mission of the Wildflower Center is to increase the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants and landscapes.

Living Lands & Waters is a nonprofit environmental organization established by Chad Pregracke in 1998 and headquartered in East Moline, Illinois.  Its mission is to aid in the protection, preservation and restoration of the natural environment of the nation’s major rivers and their watersheds, to expand awareness of environmental issues and responsibility encompassing the river and to create a desire and an opportunity for stewardship and responsibility for a cleaner river environment.

Restore America’s Estuaries (RAE) is a national nonprofit organization established in 1995 as an alliance of 11 community-based conservation organizations working to protect and restore the vital habitats of our nation’s estuaries. Its mission is to preserve the nation’s network of estuaries by protecting and restoring the lands and waters essential to the richness and diversity of coastal life.

The Water Conservation Garden has nearly five acres of displays that showcase water conservation through a series of beautiful themed gardens, such as a native plant garden and a vegetable garden, as well as how-to displays such as mulch and irrigation exhibits.  The Garden can be a learning laboratory for the dedicated gardener, a delightful place for an afternoon stroll, or a place to gather lots of information about water-wise gardening.
